How to Reset AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods 3rd/4th Gen
- 1Place both AirPods into their charging case, but don't close the lid yet
- 2On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth, tap the (i) info icon next to your AirPods, and tap 'Forget This Device' — confirm when prompted
- 3Close the case lid and wait about 30 seconds
- 4Open the lid, then press and hold the small setup button on the back of the case until the status light flashes amber a few times, then white — this is the reset
