- 3Keyboard: Type every key including function row. Check for sticky keys, missed presses, or any physical damage

- 5USB-C / MagSafe ports: Plug in a charger — does it charge immediately? Inspect port for corrosion or debris
- 6Run Apple Diagnostics: Hold D at startup — will flag hardware issues the seller may not disclose
- 7Check for water damage: Look under keyboard keys for green/white corrosion. Run 'hidutil list' — liquid contact indicators show up in System Information
- 8GPU / display driver: Open Safari and scroll a long webpage quickly — look for any tearing or glitching
- 9Serial number check: apple.com/support — verify the serial number is genuine, check warranty status
- 10iCloud status: Apple menu > System Settings > Apple ID — ensure iCloud Activation Lock is OFF
